School Meals

At St. Peter's all children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a free school dinner if they would like one. Children from Y3 to Y6 must pay for them, unless they are entitled to Free School Meals.

Am I entitled to free school meals?

You can get income-related free school meals in Bolton if you (the parent/guardian) receive any of the following:

  • Income Support

  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

  • Support under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

  • Guaranteed Pension Credit

  • Universal Credit, if your earned income is less than £7,400/year after tax

Also, if you’re receiving Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support, or have recently applied for them, FSM may be given automatically without a separate application.
